On July 24th, 2020 Bombay Flying Club became the first DGCA-approved drone pilot training institute in India. After that, several other flight schools in India gained permission to conduct drone pilot training on their campuses. However, the drone pilot training course is yet to commence in most flight schools and will be updated on their respective websites soon. Through these DGCA-approved institutions, drone pilots can receive remote pilot licenses. Moreover, this will open up a diverse range of employment opportunities for drone pilots.
